William Keith "Kebbie" Smith, SR.

William Keith "Kebbie" Smith, Sr.,  76, passed April 12, 2026, at Columbia Healthcare Center in Evansville. He was born in Henderson, KY, to the late Herman and Grace Sweatt Smith. Kebbie, as he was affectionately known, attended Alves St. Elementary School and Douglas High School. He worked in maintenance for K Mart for many years.

Kebbie loved to play cards with his family and friends, especially Bid Whist. He also enjoyed socializing and talking 'Smack" with his many friends.  Everybody in Henderson knew Kebbie.  

In addition to his parents, Kebbie is preceded in death by his siblings, Ronald Smith, Diane Smith, Michael Smith,  and James Smith. He leaves to mourn his loss, 2 sons, William K. Smith, Jr., Dominique Smith; stepchildren, Shay Easley, Tamika Easley; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Roger Smith, Bruce Smith, Herman Smith, Brian Smith, Asia Smith, Debbie Bushrod, Wanda Smith; 30 nieces & nephews, and a host of other family and friends.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
