William Meriweather

William Meriweather, born on April 6, 1963 passed away on July 26, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown. He was born to Mary Jean Meriweather and James Meriweather and raised by stepfather, James D. Williams.
He worked at Anchor Industries for a number of years. He was also an over-the-road truck driver. He loved music and was a guitar player in a local band. Before he became disabled, he loved helping family and friends. He was outgoing and never met a stranger. He will truly be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: James Meriweather and Lorenzo Young; and sisters: Deandrea Meriweather and Linda Hazelwood.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children: Jeremy Meriweather, Zachary Meriweather, Felecia (Jozmen) Shae-Robinson , and Brett Meriweather; brother: Tony Young; sisters: Teresa Meriweather, Allison (Sam) Hills, Priscilla (Lou) Johnson, Maria (Terry) Williams, and Delana "Bookie" Loesch; special aunt: Mollie Williams; special friend/caregiver: Shay and her daughter, Pot; special friend: Jerry Boger; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
