TAMARA CATHERINE MCGUIRE, lovingly known to all as "Tam Bam,” entered this world on November 23, 1982, in Henderson, Kentucky. She was the cherished daughter of Sue Gail Clark (McGuire) and the late Edward Floyd. Early in life she accepted Christ as her savior and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Tam Bam brought an unmistakable light, warmth, and joy into the lives of everyone who knew her from her earliest days. She was called home on August 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.

Tamara attended Miami Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens, Florida, before returning home to the Henderson, Kentucky Tri-state area. Later in life, she dedicated her career to caregiving, working with various assisted living companies and earning a promotion to area supervisor at ResCare. Most recently, Tamara served as a compassionate travel nurse for Alcoa. Wherever her career took her, Tamara earned the deep respect and admiration of her peers, co-workers, and residents alike.

Tamara was a truly selfless woman who lived with an open heart, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Her ultimate pride and joy was her family, and she poured her entire heart into ensuring her children were supported, loved, and fully taken care of.

An exceptionally hard worker, Tamara also knew the importance of living life to the fullest. She loved pampering herself, always keeping her hair, nails, and lashes perfectly done. She found true happiness relaxing at home with her kids, catching up on reality TV shows like Baddies or Druski, and traveling. She cherished every phone call and moment spent with her children, siblings, and nieces & nephews. "Tam Bam" will forever be remembered for her radiant smile that could light up any room, her fun-loving personality, and the legendary "tough love" she delivered with her signature sharp tongue. Her legacy of love and devotion lives on through her kids.

Tamara leaves behind loving memories for her four children: her son, Keioni McGuire, and her daughters, Hope, Seabrooklyn, and Troo McGuire. Her legacy of devotion also lives on through her mother, Sue Gail Clark of Henderson, Kentucky; her loving companion, Marcus Lewis; one brother, Bryant McGuire-Knight (Chad) of Monroe, Ohio; and two sisters, Reyanna McGuire (Dirk) of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Kimberly McGuire of Henderson, Kentucky. She is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends. Tamara was preceded in death by her father, Edward Floyd, and her grandparents, Hubert Lee and Mary Catherine McGuire, Sr.

As we gather in love and remembrance, we do not say goodbye to Tamara, but simply “See you later.” We find strength in the promise that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, resting safely in His loving arms. Her light will never dim, and her love will forever remain with us.
