Sherry Louise Day

Sherry Louise Day was born on March 14, 1971, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Irene and Lester “June” Day. She departed this earthly life on April 5, 2026.

Sherry Louise Day gave her life to Christ at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY. She was a faithful and devoted member. Sherry worked for the Western Kentucky VA Center in Hanson, KY, for 20 years.

Sherry always had a smile and a warm, loving heart for anyone she encountered. Sherry loved more than anything to cook and entertain family and friends. She was an avid UK fan to the core. She loved all her family, prayer groups, prayer partners, and church family.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents; beloved grandparents, Miller Henry Jagoe, Sr. and Bessie Mae Jagoe; aunts, Linda Lewis and Judy Fairrow.

Sherry has left several loved ones to continue on with her legacy of love, sister, Yolanda Day of Louisville, KY; 2 brothers, Shawn Day of Bowling Green, KY and Ty Day; 2 nieces, Bria Day and Vonshea Matchem; great nephew and niece, Maverick and Majesty; 3 loving uncles, Jerome and Danny Day of Madisonville, KY and Kent Allen Day of Terre Haute, IN; 2 aunts, Jessie Mae Jagoe and Jeanette Lindsey of Clarksville, TN. Sherry will also leave behind a host of cousins and family friends.
