Sharee Vanessa Hale, 64, of Evansville, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2025, in her hometown, surrounded by the love of family and cherished friends. A devoted daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Sharee will be remembered for her radiant smile, unwavering faith, and enduring ability to bring light into the lives of those around her. Born on January 11, 1961, in Evansville, Sharee was the beloved daughter of Elder Matthew Hale and the late Mrs. Carolyn Fay Hawkins Hale. From a young age, she exuded warmth and an infectious joy that endeared her to everyone she met. Sharee graduated from Bosse High School in 1979, proudly earning her high school diploma and establishing a foundation for academic achievement that she would continue to build on. In 1983, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, a milestone that reflected her determination and love of learning. She cherished her son, Matthew Nicholas Sims, whose achievements and happiness filled her with immense pride. Her church community was an extension of her family, and her presence there will be deeply missed. When she wasn’t greeting each day with prayer and gratitude, Sharee could often be found enjoying her favorite movies on Hallmark and Lifetime, delighting in the storytelling that reflected her own warmth and empathy. Her love of the PBS network spoke to her lifelong curiosity, and her tradition of watching Saturday morning cartoons with a bowl of cereal—long into adulthood—captured her youthful heart and unshakable sense of wonder.
