Listen to Obituary

Rudolph T. Harrigan II (Toot), 62, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Rudolph was born on April 13, 1963, in New York City, NY, to Betty Harrigan and Rudolph Harrigan, Sr. Toot was baptized at an early age and grew up in between New York City and Corydon, KY. He later moved to Henderson, KY.

Toot served in the U.S. National Guard and Reserves from 1980 to 1996. He earned his Tool and Die certification at Henderson Community College and worked for many years at Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson, KY.

Toot married Sarah Houston, and from this union, one child was born, Rudolph Harrigan III (Tiger). Toot was also a father to his foster son, George Pirtle, and stepdaughter, Shelly Houston.

Toot was known for his helping spirit and generous heart. He gave of himself freely—his kindness, his time, his wisdom, and even his finances—expecting nothing in return. Posey; grandmothers, Esterline Posey-Clark and Silvalese Harrigan; aunt, Rebecca McGuire (Becky); uncles, James B. Posey, Robert Posey (Rob), Kenneth Ray Posey, Raphel Harrigan, and Browyn Harrigan.
