Mary Chisler

We celebrate the life of Mary Michelle Chisler, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

 Michelle passed away after a hard-fought battle with an illness on April 3, 2024 in Evansville, Indiana at the age of 61. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all those who knew her. 

 Michelle loved listening to R&B music, her favorite color was blue, and she cherished being a loving mother and grandmother. Her life’s legacy was caring for her children especially her daughter, Kendra. She spent many years preparing her to be an independent young lady who can handle whatever comes her way while thriving. 

 Michelle was the daughter of Lawrence Chisler, Sr. and Evvie Chisler who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister in love, Willa Chisler. 

 Michelle is survived by her daughter: Kendra Jones of Indiana and her son: Michael Wisdom of Indiana; brothers: Lawrence Chisler, Jr. of New Jersey, James (Samantha) Chisler of Ohio; granddaughter: Mae Anna Barnes Wisdom of Colorado; and a host of cousins and friends.  She will truly be missed.
