Larry Marcel Green

Larry Marcel Green was born on December 14, 1949 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Jocile Green.  He was the first-born of eight children to this union.  Larry departed this life on May 12, 2024 at the Prairie Village Nursing Home in Washington, Indiana.

Larry received his Christian training at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Corydon, Kentucky. His formal education was also obtained in Corydon.   He performed construction work for Local 561 for many years.

He married the love of his life Geraldine and to this union one son, Larry Green, Jr. was born.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine and his brother, Ernest Green, Jr.

Left to cherish fond memories are son: Larry Green, Jr., siblings: Deborah Brown (Willie), Jerry Green, Sylvia Smith (Timothy), George Green, Charles Green (Bobbie), Suawan Ellis, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren,   and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
