Kwashalean Lachelle Weekley, lovingly known as “Chelle” or “Baby Chelle,” was born on November 13, 1977, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Pamela Hunter (Presley) and Theodore Weekley. She was called home on March 30, 2026.
Chelle attended school at Benjamin Bosse High School, where she earned her General Education Development diploma, demonstrating her dedication and perseverance. Continuing her education at Ivy Tech, she became a certified phlebotomist. She went on to serve her community through her work at the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) as an Eligibility Specialist.
Chelle had a deep love for life and found joy in shopping, traveling, and spending time at family gatherings. Music was always close to her heart, and she cherished the moments it brought her peace and happiness. Above all, she was a devoted mother who would do anything to ensure her family was cared for and supported.
She will be remembered for her radiant smile that could light up any room, as well as her warm, fun-loving personality that touched everyone she encountered.
Chelle leaves to cherish loving memories to her four children; son, Ramon, daughters, Azairiyia, Alireya, Adaireyl; three grandchildren, Arielle, Arick Jr., and Amir; five brothers; Anthony, Larry, Brad, Joseph, and Dwayne, four sisters; Kwan-Lisa, Antwan (Shelly), Angel, Rashawnda. Aunts; Carletha Presley-Pegues (Richard), Doretha Presley-Benson and Uncle Reverend Gregory W. Presley; several nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
