Kenneth Pullen, 61, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. He was born on December 8, 1964, in Indianapolis.
Kenny didn’t open up easily, and he wasn’t the type to perform for a room full of strangers. But if you were lucky enough to get close to him, to earn that comfort and trust, you got to see a completely different man. Someone who loved dad jokes that landed a half-second before you caught up and who fully committed to a bit that had no business being that funny.
Kenny was also extremely intelligent, the kind of smart that snuck up on you. He’d sit down to dinner, turn on Jeopardy, and answer the questions before the contestants could hit their buzzers.
Kenny spent his career with Window World, building a reputation as a hard worker who brought the same steady dependability to the job that he brought to everything else.
Beyond his career, Kenny’s hobbies were playing guitar, writing poetry, listening to Aretha Franklin, cheering on the Raiders, and watching movies. He also had strong opinions about junk food, such as believing that breakfast sandwiches should only be eaten with hash browns instead of bread and that bacon makes almost anything ten times better.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Tanika Pullen, whose bond with him was one of deep love and lasting partnership; daughters, Lauren and Jasmine; son, David; and grandchildren, Drake and Karson.
He was a beloved brother-in-law to Shericka and Michael and son-in-law to his devoted mother-in-law, Karen Porter. Kenny leaves behind his two dogs, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will spend the rest of their lives remembering his light.
Shake and bake, Kenny. Heaven just got funnier.
