Katie Louise Sanners

Heavenly Father called his daughter Katie Louise "Lou" Sanners home at 3:43 pm,
December 10, 2015. She was 65 years old, born June 16, 1950 in Henderson, KY to
her loving father Willliam Sanners, Sr and her loving mother Marianna Stott
Sanners. Katie gave her life to Christ at an early age at Norris Chapel Baptist
Church in Henderson, KY. Katie attended City High School, graduating in 1971.
She was an Ebony Sister, she also made her own clothes. She went to Church of
Faith where she served on the usher board in Henderson, KY. She loved God so
much. She gave God all Praise and Glory. She was a member of New Jerusalem
Baptist Church in Evansvile IN. Katie worked at K-Mart for 27 years. Katie
loved her grandkids and family. She loved to cook, listen to her church music,
cleaning her house, shopping, talking on the phone with her family and friends
and she loved her co-workers. She was preceded in death by her father William
Sanners, Sr and mother Marianna Stott Sanners; two sisters: Anna and Mary
Sanners; two brothers: James Sanners, Sr and William Sanners, Jr. She leaves to
cherish her memory, one son: Charles Drew Sanners, Sr (Danielle); one sister
Catherine Sanners; five grandchildren: Kaleese, JaBryant, Ametris, Zachariah and
little Drew Sanners, Jr. All from Henderson, KY. A host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
