Johnny Ross "JW" Wilbourn

Johnny Ross Wilbourn, 79, better known as “JW” gained his wings on September 5, 2022 with his family by his bedside. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and he was never a stranger to anyone that he met. Johnny “JW” Wilbourn was a man of his word and was always there to help if anyone needed a helping hand.
Johnny was born in Marx, MS but was raised in Evansville, IN. He worked for J&H Rudolph Construction and retired from the City of Evansville as a Truck Driver. Johnny enjoyed watching sports, traveling (when able), music, family, and friends. Johnny was very well known in the Evansville community. He was a member of the Express Softball Booster Club, American Legion Post 354, and Teamsters.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Milton and Rosie Lee Thacker.
Johnny leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years: Glenda Wilbourn, children: Donese Farmer (Mike), Jacque Jones, Johnny Ray Wilbourn (Millette), Julius Wilbourn (Kelly), Tyran Landours (Chearon), 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, cousins, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
