James Hoye, age 64, passed away on December 19, 2022. He was born in Blanton, MS to Elizabeth Hoye.
James enjoyed his walks throughout the city. He was a very kind man and was always looking for a way to help others.
James was preceded in death by his mother: Elizabeth; brothers: Freddie Hoye and Sam Hoye, Jr; and sisters: Elizabeth Warren and Elnora Newell.
He leaves to cherish his memory: four sisters: Alberta Hoye and Amanda Tankson (Dave) of Mississippi; Willie Jean and Eileen Hoye of Evansville, IN; brothers: Walter Hoye, Joseph Hoye, and Elmore Hoye of Mississippi; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
