Hortense (Brown) Bonds, age 64, departed this life on December 30, 2015 at her home.
Hortense was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Ellis and Nettie Brown. Upon graduation, she became a Registered Nurse and worked in hospital settings.
Hortense was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Nettie (Patton) Brown and her brother, James Yarbo.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 17 years, Eric L. Bonds; her children: Ray
Waldon (Eustacias), Kelvin Waldon (Nicole), Chameka, Tocorra, Rahem, Brittany, Rodney,
Eric II and Chardey; her grandchildren: Malik, Jalyn and Xavier; her mother-in-law, Jacqueline Bonds; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
