Gloria Dean Wright-Bass

Gloria Wright, born on March 31, 1982, to the late Kenneth Wright, Sr., and Gloria Jean Billington Wright, left us unexpectedly on July 30, 2025. She tragically lost her life in an accident while crossing the street.

Gloria was a proud graduate of Chadsey High School, where she completed her studies in 2001. Her pursuit of knowledge continued, and in 2018, she earned an associate degree in health administration.

From a young age, Gloria dedicated her life to Christ and embodied a free-spirited nature, embracing every opportunity to connect with others. Her warm personality attracted many friends, and she was cherished by all who knew her. Gloria will undoubtedly be missed deeply by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, who passed away in 1984, and her brother, Kenneth Wright, Jr., who left us in 2002.

Gloria leaves behind her beloved sons, Lamont, twins Lester and Lamar, Deontae, and daughter Diane. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Gloria Jean; her sisters, Levette, Angela, and Monica (along with Demetris and Venus, as well as her God sister Frances Qualls); her brothers, Marvin (Roslyn), Russell, and Alan Wright; as well as a large extended family that includes aunts Mae, Carrie, Patricia, Deborah (James), and Mary (DeWayne); uncles Charles, John (Shaunda), Sam, and Mark Wright, and Samuel Billington, all of whom reside in Michigan. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember her fondly.

Gloria's life, though cut short, will be celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
