Throughout his remarkable career, he fulfilled various roles, including firefighter, ambulance and rescue squad member, and fire inspector. His calm strength, leadership, and commitment to excellence garnered the respect and admiration of all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, Floyd embraced life with enthusiasm. He had a profound passion for cars, motorcycles, and cooking, often bringing people together through his delicious meals and generous hospitality. In his early years, he was known for his exceptional roller-skating skills, gliding across the rink with the same grace and confidence that characterized his life. As a proud member of the Black Jacks Motorcycle Club, he cherished the friendships he forged and the freedom of the open road.
Floyd was affectionately called “Godfather” by his family after his father's passing—a title that embodied his protective nature and deep love for his siblings.
