Eric Darnell "Ricky" Langley

Eric Darnell “Ricky” Langley entered eternal rest at Deaconess Henderson Hospital on Thursday, August 23, 2023. He was the son of the late Arthetta Langley-Gregory and Charles Langley.
Eric professed his hope in Christ at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Madisonville North Hopkins High School and served in the United States Army.
Eric lived most of his years in Denver, Colorado before moving back to his hometown. Upon moving back, he worked at Sights Denim and Gibbs in Henderson, KY.
In his pastime, Eric loved playing pool and watching football, basketball and the History Channel. He kept up with his gymnastics until his late 30’s doing handstands, flips, etc. He was a charmer and showed kindness to everyone. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mabel and Harold Ford; brothers: Steven Langley, and Marlon Gregory; and son: Eric Langley.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter: Chastity (Edward) Jones-Hendrix of Evansville, IN; brothers: Leslie Fort, Rodney Radford, Donald Langley, and Gary (Trinity) Langley all of Madisonville, KY; Charles Langley Jr. of Louisville, KY; sisters: Lisa, Jackie, and Beverly of Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Aleah and Mariesha Hendrix of Evansville; great-grandchildren: Jazlyn Thomas, Leila Hendrix, Amina Cordray, Avonna Crawford all of Evansville.
