Duaine Mario Hall, Sr., 65, departed this life December 24, 2023.  The son of Vernal J. Hall and Mary Louise Hall, he was born on April 8, 1958, in Evansville, IN.  He was a member of Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church.  He attended Cedar Hall Elementary and graduated from Central High School in 1976 where he played basketball. After high school, he attended Vincennes University.  During his work career, Duaine was employed at General Electric and later at Bristol Myers where he worked until his health failed.

Duaine was a quiet and reserved person but would do whatever he could for others. He never complained, often saying, “I’m alright.”

He is preceded in death by his father, Vernal “Moose” Hall; brothers, Daryl “Pops” Hall, and Vernal “Booder” Hall; uncle & aunt, Charles and Jacqueline LaGrone.  Cherishing his memory are son, Duaine Mario Hall, Jr. (Andrea); grandchildren, Auriana, and Dominic Hall; mother, Mary Louise Hall; brother, Rev. Dean Hall; nephews, Vernal Oliver and Dein-Rene; niece, Khalia; cousins and a host of friends.
