Dougetta Leah Noel was the daughter of Glenda N. Nichols and the late Douglas
 
 Lee Noel and the adopted daughter of Pete Nichols. She was born in Madisonville
 
 and departed this life at 1:10 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015, at her home.
 
 Dougetta worked for Kentucky Rest Haven Nursing Home for several years. She also
 
 worked for Kaya Rest Care. In addition, she was employed by Max Fuel.
 
 Dougetta was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather, Jonnie Noel
 
 and Harold Thomas Noel; another grandmother, Curtis Willoughby; grandfathers
 
 Spencer Springfield and James Willoughby; her father, Douglas Lee Noel; and one
 
 uncle, Robert T. Noel.
 
 She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Glenda Nichols; her dad, Pete
 
 Nichols; three sisters, Diane Parker of Akron, Ohio, Dannie Noel of Detroit and
 
 Wanda (Robert) Brown of Evansville; six brothers, Douglas (Carla) Noel Jr. of
 
 Louisville, Dougrue (special friend, Joyce Tidwell) of Madisonville, DeMond Noel
 
 and Spencer Noel, both of Louisville, Darryle Noel of Madisonville and Rodney
 
 Allison of Henderson; three beloved cousins, Rush Noel, Phillip Noel and Clara
 
 B. Williams; her “Big Bubba,” Carl Williams Hightower of Madisonville; one aunt,
 
 Edith L. Noel of Detroit; a great-uncle, Howard (Joe) Rankin; a host of nieces,
 
 nephews, cousins and friends; a special friend, Vickie Scott; and her guardian,
 
 Mary Noel.
 
 Services are noon Saturday at Zion Temple A.M.E. Church in Madisonville.
 
 Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday. Mason & Sons Funeral Home, 409 E. Noel
 
 Ave., Madisonville, is in charge of arrangements.
