Darryl Ray Johnson

Darryl Ray Johnson was born on February 2, 1964, to the late Wanda Sue Holt in Madisonville, KY.  Darryl was a very loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. You never saw him without his contagious smile and joyous laughter.

Darryl accepted Christ into his life at an early age at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, where he attended with his family.

Darryl attended Lafayette High School in Lexington, Kentucky, and Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He developed a career in dietary management and accepted employment at IMT Residential as a Dietary Manager and CFPP Field Consultant. Darryl was a valued employee and was well-liked by his co-workers.

In addition to his mother, Darryl was also preceded in death by his father, Boyd Johnson Sr.; grandparents, Rogetta and Raymond Sharber; great-grandparents, Myrtle and Ephrium Sharber; sister, Theresa Johnson; and aunt, Linda Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his legacy and life, his four brothers: Boyd Jr. (Tina), Michael (Jaime), Timothy (Margie), and Douglas (Sara); two sisters, Lisa Brown (Ted) and D’Andrea Johnson; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
