Barbara Ann Jackson

Barbara Ann Jackson made her transition into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:02 pm. Barbara was born March 13, 1966 in Madisonville, KY.

Barbara attended West Hopkins High School and worked as a caregiver for over 30 years. She enjoyed nursing her plants, doing puzzles, braiding hair, listening to gospel music and burning scented candles.

Barbara was preceded in death by her sister: Gwendolyn Thompson; brother: Jeffrey Thompson; niece: Letetia Wright; aunt and uncle: William “Jackie” & Mary Pettus; and special friend: Rosevelt Ellis, Jr., who she affectionately called “Junior.”

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents Billy and Sally Wright of Madisonville, KY; two daughters: Marchell “Molly” Serpa and Earica Moore, both of Madisonville, KY; five grandchildren: Franco Serpa, Mia Cocuyo, JaRies Moore, Ja’Rell Moore and Ja’Ree Moore of Madisonville, KY; one brother: James Thompson (Wanda); and one sister: Linda Thompson, both Madisonville, KY; six nieces and nephews; one aunt and three uncles.

Barbara will be remembered as someone who loved laughter, being with family, and enjoying life to the fullest.
