Anthony Young, Jr., a cherished member of the Evansville community, passed away on December 9, 2025, in his hometown, where he was born on August 30, 1964. Anthony’s life was one filled with his passions, including a deep love for cooking, which he practiced as a cook at Burger King. He delighted in preparing meals for his family, showcasing both his culinary skills and his nurturing spirit.
He was educated within the Vanderburgh County School System, where he laid the foundation for a life of learning and curiosity. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Anthony found joy in leisure activities, notably watching scary movies and wrestling on television, while also enjoying video games on his PlayStation. These interests brought him joy and served as a source of connection with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo Young, Sr. and Betty Jean Meriweather, as well as his sister, Deondria Meriweather, and brother, Lorenzo Young, Jr. Their memories will forever remain an integral part of his story.
Anthony is survived by his beloved children, Martina Dean and Terion Young, and a host of other family members who carry forward his legacy of warmth and care.
As we remember Anthony, we celebrate a life characterized by love, laughter, and a commitment to family. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
