Anna J. Lisembee Johnson, 84 of Henderson KY, passed away on November 13, 2016 at Methodist Hospital. She was a member of Mount Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. She served as a mother of the church.

She was born September 11, 1932 to the late Beatrice and Wilson Lisembee and she had six siblings. She was preceded in death by two brothers: George and Wilson Lisembee; two sisters: Lilly Banks and Annette Lisembee; her husband, Paul Johnson; two children: William Lisembee and Pamela Hagan; and a grandson, Traun Hagan.

She is survived by three children: Thomas Lisembee (Joan), Jean Poindexter (Leon), and Lisa Evans Haywood; grandchildren: Adrian Lisembee, Karis Bradley, Tory Hagan, Jazmine and Jade Hawood, Alyse and Miles Poindexter, and Max and Alex Lisembee; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Shirley Vincent (John) and Sheila Langley; and a brother; Rev. Paul Lisembee; along with several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00pm at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 450 Fagan Street, Henderson KY with visitation from 11:00am until service time. Burial in Fernwood Cemetery. Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel www.masonbrothersfs.com
