Mr. Willie O Carter

Willie O. Carter, age 65 of Sturgis, KY, died Sunday, Mar 23, 2021, at his daughter, Ann’s home in Henderson, KY.
He was a native of Uniontown, Kentucky, and graduated from Union County High School. He had formerly worked at the Peabody Coal Co. and currently was employed by the Sturgis Housing Authority.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Clarence E. Carter.
Survivors are daughter, Latonya Higginson, Andronia Smith, Chrisie Carter-Griffin, Satara Elam, 9 grandchildren, 2 sisters, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 28, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel, 1001 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN. Final arrangements entrusted to R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel.
