Turner "TC" Cook

January 31, 1940 — July 12, 2017

Turner “TC” “Snake Doctor” Cook was born in Madisonville, KY to the late George and Evelyn Cook on January 31, 1940. He was one of ten children. He had an outgoing personality, loved the blues, and loved to dance.

He worked for some time as a coal miner in Pyro Coal Mine in Webster County, KY. For most of his life though, he owned and operated Turner Cook’s Roofing. Until his health failed, this is where he was able to build great business relationships and provide for his extensive family.

Turner believed in Jesus Christ death, burial, and resurrection; therefore, according to the Holy Bible, He was saved. He worked out his soul salvation at Flower Grove Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY. He was a faithful active member and loved getting dressed up to attend fellowship.

He was called home to rest in paradise on July 12, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George & Evelyn Cook; two brothers: Carl Jr Cook, John Lester Cook; four sisters: Vanna Lee Barry, JoAnn Parker, Emma Cook, and Lottie Wilson; and two daughters: Donna Hines & Kim LaChelle Cook.

He left to cherish his fond memories: one brother: George (Renee) Cook of Nashville, TN; two sisters Carolyn Malone of Evansville, IN & Clarissa (Stephen) Barrett of Henderson, KY; eight sons: Jerry Cook of Evansville, IN, Terry Foster of Louisville, KY, Petey Jackson, Turner A. “Lil Turner” Cook, Tristen Jackson, TieAntae “T” Cook, and TieAmante “Bubba” Cook—all of Madisonville, KY, and TieAmorius “Snake” Cook of Louisville, KY; and twelve daughters: Evelyn Louise Cook of Flint, MI, Thomasa “Sulu” Cook, Daphne Jackson, Mystic Jackson, Britney “Ma’lee” (Jarron) Ramsey, Mary Jackson, and Turnissa “Pooh” Cook —all of Madisonville, KY, Pamela Cook of Mesquite, TX, Shelia (Timothy) Wilson of Cadiz, KY, Shannon Jackson and Turessa “Cicee” Cook both of Evansville, IN, and TieShirra “Shi” Cook of Louisville, KY.
