SaDonna Ann Jones
August 24, 1971 — August 9, 2016
Heaven received another angel on August 9, 2016. SaDonna Ann Jones was born to the late Harold W. Jones Sr. and Joyce Ann Jones on the 24th day of August 1971.
She was a Madisonville, KY resident and hometown "legend" who was well known in the community for "walking the land" and telling others she loved them and that they were beautiful. SaDonna was a friend to many, never met a stranger, and was a beautiful spirit and woman of God. SaDonna always said she had friends from the courthouse to the poorhouse. SaDonna never discriminated. She treated all her friends equally and loved them all.
In addition to her father, SaDonna was predeceased by great grandparents: Edgar, Minnie, and Margaret Jones and Annie Leola and Forrest Hightower; grandparents: James Doc and Mary Phillips, Rev. Thomas E. Matchen, Costella and Theodist Baker; nephew, Damium Rosenthal.
SaDonna leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Denecia and Gabrielle Jones of Kentucky; son, Joshua Jones of Illinois; mother, Joyce of Kentucky; grandmother, Annie Pearl Jones Matchen of Kentucky; sisters: Tiffany, Monica,and Carmall(Derrick) of Kentucky; brother, Harold Jr.(Michelle) of Tennessee; niece, Tatyana Slaton; nephews: Tristan Jones, Tyree Jones, DeShawn Rosenthal, Derrick Slaton Jr.; and last but not least her beloved grandchildren: Jonathan Logan Jr., JaiCeon Campbell, and Jakhi Young.
Special loved ones include cousins: Rita Baker, Cindy Jones, and Tracy Dean; friends: Terry and Shantise Foster, Tayla Foster, Aunt "D" Delores Thompson; second mother, Dorothy Collins , Aunt Janice Slaton and Aunt Linda Steppe; the entire "Hopewell/Nisbet Crew" and faithful "Earlington Crew." Sadonna is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends she loved dearly.
Services are Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville KY with visitation from 11:00am until service time also at the church. Burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mason & Sons Funeral Home is in charge. Condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com
