Robert "Jody" Scott

Robert “Jody” Otis Scott was born August 14, 1950 in Henderson, KY to the late Buddy Scott and Emma Johnson. He went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Robert was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful and devoted member serving on the Trustee and Usher Boards. He served in the United States Army. He retired from Lewis Bakery after 25 years as a machine operator. Robert was a good man and a loving provider. He loved to fish wherever he could find a good spot…especially at Lake Barkley. He also enjoyed watching his grandson play soccer, and spending time with all his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert leaves to mourn and cherish his memories his wife of 42 years: Ruth Scott; sons: Robert Jr., Aaron (Jacqueline), and DeMarco; two daughters: Ciara (Chrome), Melissa; five grandchildren; and a host of nephews and cousins.
