Mrs. Nettie Ussery

May 19, 1933 - March 9, 2022

Nettie was born on May 19, 1933, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Nettie was educated at Cobb Elementary School and Burt High School. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of 12. She later met and married the love of her life, John Wesley Ussery. Nettie and her family moved to Evansville, IN in 1953. Her husband John preceded her in death in February 2018. Nettie was a dedicated employee at Penny Queen and was a factory worker at General Foods and Whirlpool Corporation. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She leaves to cherish her daughter Agnes M. (Donald) Taylor, Anthony Ussery (Miami, FL), and David Ussery (Evansville). Six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be sent to Greater Christian Hope Church: https://greaterhope.breezechms.com/give/online A mask is required for both services.
