Nellie Mae Scott

Nellie Mae Rhodes-Scott, 88, passed August 26, 2015 at Golden Living Nursing Home. Nellie was born April 28, 1927 in Drakesboro, KY to the late Ernest and Beatrice Rhodes. She was married for 39 years to Tommy Scott who preceded her in death. Nellie was a homemaker who loved her family. She was a devoted member of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church for more than 50 years where she was very active in many of the church missions. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by sister Juanita Rhodes Mitchell and brother Grady Rhodes. She leaves to cherish her memory, sister: Katie Buckner; nieces: Brenda Outlaw, Sandra Boyd, Linda Pendleton; nephews: Harold Mitchell, Carl Buckner. Services Monday August 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial in Sunset Cemetery.
