Michael Wayne Chinn, 59, of Evansville, Indiana passed Monday September 25, 2017 after a brief illness.
Michael was born on November 11, 1957 to James and Margie Chinn. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and cousin to his family. He will be truly missed by his family left here and a welcome presence to those on the other side.
Michael was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from the Pipe-fitters Union after more than thirty years, and recently worked part-time for Wolfes Auto Auction. Michael had a passion for cars and had a collection of automobiles.
His paternal and maternal grandparents, his parents, aunts, uncles, a great niece and a grandchild, preceded Michael in death.
Michael leaves to cherish fond loving memories: his wife: Debra; daughter: Mikayla, sons: Michael Jr., Darrell, Jarrell, and Kevin; three sisters: Linda Kenner, Dorma Chinn, Delisa Tyler (Robbie); two brothers: James Harper and David Chinn (Lisa); 13 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Memorial Baptist Church with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel.
