Mary E. Gregory

Mary E Gregory,76, affectionately known as Pookie, of Henderson KY, passed away at home on Thursday Aug 3, 2017. She was born June 4,1941 to Hallie and Mary Emma Wingo.
For over 25 years her career spanned various departments and positions in Western Kentucky’s medical system before retiring from the Green River District Health Dept. Mary was a member of Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church where she served as directress of the senior choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford D Gregory, son Bruce E Howard, great-granddaughter Kiara L Cosby. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her children: Danny Howard (Voncile) of Killeen, TX, Leslie Hunn (Jerry) of Henderson, KY; brothers George Wingo of Evansville, Randy Wingo of Mayfield Ky; sister: Linda Dorsey of Marion, IN; eight grandchildren;16 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services are 1:00 p.m. Saturday Aug. 12, 2017 at Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Rev. Anthony Brooks will officiate.
