Larry Miles, 65, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2019. His parents were Lucy Miles, Cemore Dillard and stepmother, Addie Dillard. He was a native of Chicago but moved to Evansville from Michigan in early 2019 to be with his mother, Lucy. They shared a room at Golden Living Brentwood.

Larry was a very hard worker and always kept a job. He worked for many years at General Electric in Michigan but he also managed several grocery stores throughout his career.

One could describe Larry as a charmer and outgoing person who enjoyed making others laugh. He had great appreciation for feminine beauty. He was an avid bowler who many years ago sponsored a bowling team with his friend John. He loved all sports Chicago; the Chicago Bulls, The Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bears. His television enjoyment included Professional Wrestling and anything the “Duke” (John Wayne) had a part in.

Larry was preceded in death by his father: Cemore Dillard; son: Antoine Lionel Harmon; brother: Wilburt Miles.

He leaves to cherish loving memories, his daughters: Carey Spencer (James) and Katrina Harmon; grandchildren: Deontra Harmon, India Wilkins, Kal-el Spencer; mother: Lucy Miles; siblings: Claude & Tony Miles both of Chicago, Terry Miles of Evansville, Saunders Pike of Davenport, IA, Eric Dillard (Tara) of Burlington, IA, Ed Dillard (Judie) of Ft. Madison, IA, Theresa Miles Brooks of Louisville, Rita Akporido and Carla Miles both of Evansville, Jonia Stanbridge of Buffalo, NY; Cirpattra Dillard of Ft. Madison, IA; Aunt: Tiesha Dillard; Ex-wives: Sharon Frison, Freddie Miles; special friend: Melissa Harris.
