Katherine "Katie" Sanders

Katherine “Katie” Sanders transitioned Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was employed as an LPN at Welborn Hospital for 28 years. Katie was married 41 years to the late Alfred L. Sanders.
Katie loved her dogs and enjoyed watching black and white western movies while drinking a cup of coffee or a glass of Pepsi. Her favorite holiday was Christmas while surrounded by her family.
In addition to her husband Alfred, Katie was preceded in death by her parents: Zernie and Annie Phillips; son: Kevin Sanders; and four sisters.
Katie is survived by daughter: Gwendolyn Albert; grandsons: Kwame (Gloria) Albert, Yaaseen (Lorraine) Albert; granddaughter: Kalemah (Jermaine) Woolfolk; great grandchildren: Kameron, Taylor, Jalen and Gabriel; Roth Mason whom she fondly considered as family; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
