John Thomas Black

John Thomas Black, age 61, of Henderson Ky., passed away peacefully on Sunday October 9, 2016. John was born to the late Talitha and Reverend John S. Black in Henderson, KY., January 17, 1955. John is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy J. Black (Greenwell); children: Anthony Black (Tara), Minister Marcus Black, and DeAnna Black; grandchildren: Lincoln, Khia, and McKinley; siblings, Carolyn DeJarnett, Phyllis Harris, Barbara Johnson, Gail Turner, Tony Black all of Henderson, Lawrence Black (Frankie) of Indianapolis, IN and Donald Black of Evansville IN. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Walter Lester and Tyrone Black. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church in Evansville, IN. Visitation will be Friday October 14, 2016 from 5pm – 8pm also at the church. Burial will take place at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
