JoAnn Conner

JoAnn Conner, age 67, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2017 while at Deaconess Hospital. She had been a resident of Brentwood Nursing Home for approximately 3 years. She worked at Shelf Stable Foods for many years. She was born to Joshua Conner, Sr. and Bessie Ruth Parish Conner in Leland, Mississippi. She moved to Evansville in 1968 and completed high school in Evansville.
JoAnn loved her family and enjoyed reading books. She also loved to do arts and crafts in her leisure time.
She was preceded in death by sister: Julia L. Daniels; brother Danny Lee Conner.

JoAnn is survived by children: Selene Compton, Bunk Conner, Raford Youngblood, Jr.; siblings: Joshua Conner, Jr., Bessie Tapp, Daniel Conner; 14 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services are 1:00 p.m. Thursday September 14, 2017 at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel with visitation from 12 Noon until service time. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
