Iris Laverne “Vern” Hopson, 63, passed away on November 13, 2020. She was born on January 9, 1957 in Providence, KY to John Lindle and Gladys Lindle Woolfork.
Iris graduated from Providence High School. She attended Marable Temple Church of God in Christ. Iris worked at Tyson Foods. She enjoyed her family. Although, she did not have any children of her own, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Patricia Fraizer Griffin and Arsula Mooney Johnson; brothers: John Mooney, Robert E. Mooney, and Van Mooney, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sisters: Wanda Lindle, Gloria Allen, Martha Baxter, Dorris Morrow (Jerry), Celestene Hutchinson (Starus); brothers: Monte Chris Lindle and Willie Carol Mooney.
Graveside service at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at William Cemetery, Providence, KY with Ira Hathaway officiating. Mason and Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with final arrangements; condolences may be left at www.masonbrothersfs.com .
