Henrietta Rose Rabon Cooksey

Henrietta Rose Rabon Cooksey was born in Evansville, IN. on December 9, 1949 to Mary and Frederick Rabon. She transitioned from earth to her Heavenly Home on September 8, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital. Henrietta attended elementary school in Evansville, IN and for high school she attended Hyde Park Career Academy on the South Side of Chicago, IL. Henrietta continued her education with the hopes of becoming a nurse in Evansville, IN. While pursuing her educational goals, she went on to have 5 loving children: Carlos, Yvette, Lisa, and twins; Tesha and Marlo. Henrietta met the love her life, Clifton Cooksey, and they were married on September 3, 1999. She enjoyed watching Western Movies, listening to Blues and hanging out with friends; especially Gene and Barbara Ann.
Henrietta treasured her family and enjoyed talking to her children on the phone. She loved to receive pictures of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Mary & Frederick Rabon, she was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Cooksey, and her son Marlo.
Henrietta leaves to cherish her memory: one Sister: Shirley Bolin; four children: Carlos, Yvette, Lisa & Tesha; seven grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
