Greta L Cowan

Greta L. Cowan was born on December 31, 1941, to the late Richard and Era Yarbrough Johnson.

She transitioned from earth to eternal life on August 21, 2021. Greta was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1959. She was employed at Earle C. Clements Job Corp, where she retired after twenty years of service. She was a dedicated member of McFarland Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Ruthella Johnson Stringer.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons: William and Carlos Lock; daughters:
Demetra (Michael) Proctor, Aria Whitlock, and Ja-Mia Lock; two honorary sons: Mac Arthur Rapier and Richard Whitlock; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; brother: Richard (Anita) Johnson, Jr.; sisters: Karen (Alfonso) Shamell, Crystal Johnson, and Bridgett Harris; and a host of nieces and nephews.
