Edgar Crawley

August 28, 1948 — August 20, 2021

Mr. Edgar Crawley Jr. entered into his eternal rest on August 20. 2021 at
Tri Star Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was 72 yrs old.
Edgar was born on August 28, 1948 to the late Edgar Sr. and Ruth Ellen Crawley. He was the oldest of 5 children.

Edgar served in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Coordinator from 1968-1972 and received an Honorable Discharge. He then went on to become a Machine Operator at Bristol-Myers Squibb for 34 years until he retired.
He was a member of Ebone 66, River City Golf Club, and Midwest District Golf Association. Edgar was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast while being the #1 biggest supporter of his three children Andreka, Courtney, and Ashley in every activity they participated in. He especially enjoyed being their caddy when they played in golf tournaments (making sure everyone was keeping good records of their strokes), and being the unofficial score and stats keeper from the stands at all their other games. Edgar was very firm and particular in all things but it definitely came from a place of love.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Charles Ivan Crawley and Linda Gayle Crawley.

He is survived by his loving children: Andreka (Reginald) Johnson, Jr. of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Courtney (Lashelle) Crawley Sr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Ashley Crawley of Atlanta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Marlecia Grigsby, Kalia Grigsby, Jordan Grigsby, all from Hendersonville, Tennessee; Cayla Crawley, Courtney Crawley Jr., Cierra Crawley, all from Indianapolis, Indiana; 2 sisters: Deborah Guest of Evansville, Indiana and Diana Crawley of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 1 Devoted Cousin/Brother: Wilber Granderson, Jr. of Evansville, Indiana and a host of Cousins and Friends.

Masks are required.
