DeCarlo Wayne Cleveland, age 29, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital East in Lafayette IN. He was born in Henderson, Kentucky to Michael Gant and Ruth Stone and graduated from Henderson County High School in 2004. He was a very active member of the choir. DeCarlo worked in several places: Golden Corral, Walmart, ResCare, and Boost Mobile.
He was passionate about traveling to spread the gospel. DeCarlo loved God with everything that was in him.
DeCarlo leaves to mourn his loss, his mother, Ruth Stone; his step-father, Bennie Stone; grandfathers: Donald Thomas and Harry Tuck; grandmothers: Pearline Gant and Mary Cleveland; great-grandmother: Mattie Hazelwood; sisters: MyTeka Cleveland and Miah Gant; brother: Jeremiah Tramill; niece and nephew: Makhi Gant and Mylah Tramill; aunts: Damita Ammons of Milwaukee WI, Angela Johnson of Philadelphia MS, Denise Jackson of North Little Rock AR, Anita Cleveland of Indianapolis IN, Shanta Floyd of Henderson KY, and a host of great-aunts; uncles: William Leachman (Diane) of Henderson KY, Clarence Floyd of Evansville IN, Joseph Gant, and three great uncles; and a host of cousins, great-cousins, and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Haven Pentecostal Church, 425 Kresge Drive, Henderson Kentucky. Visitation 10:00am until service time, also at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel. Condolences may be left at
