Barbara Louise Brewer

September 14, 1956 — June 8, 2022

Barbara Louise Brewer, 65, went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2022. She was born on September 14, 1956, to the late Robert Brewer, Sr., and Myrtle Teasley Brewer.

She was a graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and was the first African American cheerleader in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. A lifelong member of Cleaves Memorial CME Church, she loved her church family and enjoyed singing praises to God. She worked for several years at AmeriQual Packaging, and TJ Maxx Distribution Center in Evansville. Barbara loved reading and watching television. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life and she loved spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Brandon Brewer; brother: James Teasley.; sister: Deborah Jordan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons: Jaylan Brown and Justin Brewer; sister: Roberta Brewer; brothers: Robert, Jr., Wayne, Timothy, and, Thomas Brewer; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
