Archie C. Hatchett

Archie C. Hatchett was born June 27, 1950 to the late Rev. Chester Hatchett and Charlesetta Hatchett. He passed away Saturday morning on March 7, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Archie attended Douglas High School and graduated from Henderson City High. He worked at Accuride, ran for City Commissioner, and served in the United States Army. He was a member at Race Creek Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir.

Archie was preceded in death by his father, mother, and one granddaughter, Brielle Hatchett.

He leaves to cherish his memory his caregiver, Jessica Hatchett; his sons: Bryson, Canaan, Broc, Archie Jr., Eric, and Tony; two stepchildren: Jametta and George; siblings: Arsa Lee (his twin), Sharon Oats (Glen), Shirley Dixon (Helena), Chester Hatchett Jr. (Dorris), Del Smith (Charles); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:00pm at New Race Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson KY. Visitation from 11:00am until service time. Burial in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel, 1322 Helm Street, Henderson KY, is in charge of arrangements.
