Alan L. Mason

Alan L. Mason, the son of Richard Clark of Indianapolis IN and Gloria E. Cook
(Mason) of Earlington KY, was born on February 26, 1959 in Earlington, Kentucky.
He departed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Baptist Health Madisonville.

Alan accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Zion Missionary
Baptist Church in Earlington KY where he remained a member until his death at
age 56. He was a 1977 graduate of West Hopkins High School in Rabbit Ridge KY.
He was employed for a number of years with the Peabody Coal Company.

He was one who met no strangers and loved watching sports, including USC
Fighting and WWE Wrestling.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his parents; four children: Kory of
Christian County KY, Jonathan (Kellie) of Arkansas, Katherine of Madisonville
KY, and Terri of Eastern Kentucky; a stepson, Shawn (Danielle) Stafford; one
sister, Sandra (Ronald) Radford of Indianapolis IN; three uncles: Joseph Mason
of Earlington KY, Ralph Mason of Springfield IL, and James Hines of Evansville
IN; two aunts: Willma Jean (Lawrence) Berry of Louisville Ky and Anita (Charles)
Lenior of Shawnee, Kansas; a special companion, Leslie Hunt of Earlington KY;
two special godchildren, Jaylenn and Kaden Martin; and a special cousin, Wayman
Mason of Earlington KY.

Services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Missionary
Baptist Church in Earlington KY with visitation from 11:00 am until service
time. Burial at Oak Wood Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mason and Sons
Funeral Home, 409 E. Noel Avenue, Madisonville KY.
