Addie Sue Cavette

Addie Sue Cavette, age 82, of Henry TN, passed away January 9, 2015 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson TN.

Addie was born to the late Margaret and McKenzie Brady in Grenada MS. She was a product of the Grenada County School System. She married Eugene Cavette and together, they raised fourteen children.

Addie was a member of Walton Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Henry TN and she loved to go to church. She also loved to watch television especially the “oldies but goodies.” But most of all, she loved her family.

Addie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Cavette Sr; one son, Eugene Cavette Jr; and one sister, Frances Brady.

She leaves to cherish her memory, thirteen children: Barbara Jean Tillman of Redondo Beach CA, Jerry Tillman of Jackson LA, Harvey Gene Cavette of Henry TN, Beatrice Cavette of Henry TN, Felix Cavette of Paris TN, Curtis Cavette of Henry TN, Josephine Cavette House of Mayfield KY, Gerald Emerson Cavette of Henry TN, Gerard Jeremiah Cavette of Franklin TN, Deborah Jean Cavette of McKenzie TN, Marilyn Cavette of Garland TX, David Sylvesta Cavette of Denton TX, and Vanessi Bernard Cavette of Nashville TN; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00pm at Walton Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 100 Radford Lake Road, Henry TN 38231. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00pm – 6:00pm also at the church. Burial will be at Caton Springs Cemetery in Henry TN. Mason Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
