Velda Raye Chase

Velda Raye Chase daughter of Charles S. McQueen & Sonya Raye McQueen was born Dec. 31, 1955 in Evansville, IN. She passed Dec. 7, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital.
She graduated from Harrison High School inn 1973 and went on to attend Surgical Technician training at Ivy Tech. She was employed at Whirlpool Corp. for many years. Velda enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her spare time but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father: Charles S. McQueen, mother: Sonya McQueen and grandmother Minerva Kolb.
Velda leaves to cherish her memory daughter: Eldona Hall; granddaughters: Jaci, Megan, and Emily McQueen; great grandchildren: Isiah Martin and Navaiah Martin; sisters: Phyllis Hancock (Randy), Sherri McQueen; brother: Stewart McQueen; as well as several nieces & nephews.
