Cortez Lockett was born on May 23, 1990 to Jacqueline Lockett and Tracy Morgan. He departed this life on May 11, 2017. Cortez united with Christ at Bible Base Community Church in Centralia, IL at the age of 12.
He was a talented basketball player. He loved rap music and enjoyed rapping and playing video games. Cortez was a very loving person who would help anyone and would share anything, except his Honey Buns. When he was a young man, he would do errands and other good deeds around the community for the elderly. Cortez set a good example for his younger siblings. He was a harmless, positive, smiling young man who will be missed by all who knew him.
